Jesse Parker won Silver and Bronze Medals. Great Job!

Sat., Sept. 13, Fernando "Cabeca" Sarmento promoted Jesse Parker, Kevin
Palencia and Orlando Gonzalez to Blue Belt. Special recognition to all the students

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Federation Tournament.
Will Palencia won a Silver Medal after 6 matches at "The Battle at The Beach" in
Wildwood, NJ, Aug 2,2008. Both Jesse and Will lost 1st Place by less than 4 points.
There were outstanding competitors at both events.

Torrance, California
Sifu Parker visited Richard Bustillo's world-renowned IMB Academy and taught a
1 1/2hr. Escrima class. The IMB Academy was founded in 1974 by Dan Inosanto
and Richard Bustillo. Originally IMB was short for Inosanto, Martinez and Bustillo;
eventually becoming the International Martial Arts and Boxing Academy. Bruce
Lee's original Wing Chun Dummy and other historical items embrace the Academy.
Black Belt and Masters Promotion
Sat., June 7,2008 was a day for celebration. After 14 yrs. of training, Will Palencia
was promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt. Other promotions were: Kevin Palencia
3rd Degree BB/ Nicole Maslowas and Katie Juniewicz 2nd Degree BB/
Ben Lopez, Craig Juniewicz, Andrew and Christina Skalitsky 1st Degree BB.

Kevin Palencia was promoted to Associate Instructor under Sifu Richard Bustillo
in Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai and Escrima on May 4, 2008.

On Sun. Oct. 21, 2007, Jesse Parker and Kevin Palencia competed at the Battle of
Baltimore in the Brazilian Jiu-jitsu division. Both finished 1st place in their Gi
divisions against BJJ schools from Phila., Baltimore and the Washington, D.C. area.
